Team Jersey & Rider Packet Pick-Up - 9/2/2010

Come meet the team and join us for a drink as we hand out the 2010 United by Design team jersey and Bike MS rider packets. We will be getting the jerseys earlier that day and we are excited for everyone to see them! Thanks again to all of our sponsors for helping us fund the jerseys and for their support of our team. Fund-raising Breakfast at Lawrence Group!

Lawrence Group will be holding its annual Bike MS Fund-raising Breakfast on Wednesday, September 8th, 2010, to support the riders of the United by Design Bike MS Team. The team is riding in the Bike MS: Express Scripts Gateway Getaway 2010 in Columbia, MO, on September 11th & 12th.

Come and enjoy some of your breakfast favorites prepared by United by Design team members and volunteers. You can also participate in our silent auction and raffle where we will draw for fantastic prizes from great local hotels, restaurants, and other venues. All money raised will be donated to the Gateway Area Chapter of the National MS Society towards the team's fund-raising goal. Feel free to bring your friends, family, and co-workers! Attached is the event flyer. As you can see, we like bacon, but not as much as we like supporting the MS Society!

Weekend Training Ride - 8/28/2010

United by Design will be having another weekend training ride on Saturday, 8/28/2010, at 7:00am (weather permitting). We will be joining Team Christner again for their "Wildwood Ride". Click here for a link to their team page for more information on their Bike MS team and their training rides.

We will meet at Windsor Crossing Community Church in Chesterfield, MO, at 7:00am. Below is a Google Map of the church's location to get directions as well as a map of the Wildwood Ride showing the routes & mileage. Some people will be riding the main "red" route. It is about 34 miles with some decent hills. There are other connecting routes for those who want to add or subtract mileage.

Weekend Training Ride - 8/21/2010

United by Design will be having another weekend training ride on Saturday, 8/21/2010 (weather permitting).

We will be riding a few Madison County Transit Trails in Madison County, IL, again. We will meet at the Metro East Park & Recreation District Office at 7:30am. "Click Here" for the link to its location on Google Maps where you can get directions. The trails are fairly flat and are good for getting in some extra miles. All together, the ride will be about 29 miles round trip. There are numerous other connecting trails for those who want to add or subtract mileage.

STLStyle Trivia Winners!

A few United by Design team members and friends went to the City to River City+Arch+River design competition review night at Schlafly's Tap Room and participated in the STLStyle Trivia. "Team United by Design" tied for 1st place and won a $100 cash prize that will be put towards the team's fund-raising goal for the 2010 Bike MS Gateway Getaway ride. Great job to everyone on the team for their help answering some great St. Louis trivia questions! It was a fun event with a great turn out. We're exited to see the results of the arch grounds design competition. It will be great for the city and the region as well.

United by Design and Team Arcturis are going to be riding Big Shark's Saturday morning 36 mile shop ride on August 14th, 2010 (weather permitting). It's going to be a HOT one so bring lot's of fluids!

We will meet at Big Shark Bicycle Co. at 7:45am and leave at 8:00am. There are usually people who do a shorter and longer ride for anyone who is interested.

United by Design would like to sincerely thank each and every person who came out to Triumph Grill last night to support our team's efforts for the Bike MS: Express Scripts Gateway Getaway 2010 charity ride. Fundraising Happy Hour Tonight!

United by Design is holding a Fundraising Happy Hour tonight at Triumph Grill in St. Louis, MO, from 5:00 - 8:00pm. Come out and join our team for some excellent food & drinks! There is a $10 all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet; drinks not included. Also, we will also be having a raffle & silent auction with some amazing prizes! In addition, we will be selling team T-Shirts for $15 each. We will accept cash or check only. Credit Cards can be used for drinks at the bar. Weekend Training Ride - 8/7/2010

United by Design will be joining Team Arcturis on their morning training ride on Saturday, August 7th. The ride will start in Columbia, MO. We will be meeting at 7:45am in the Columbia Center strip mall parking lot in front of the Tequila’s Mexican Restaurant. After our ride, we can enjoy some food & margaritas!
